About Bernie
Bernie is our English Springer Spaniel. He didn’t make the cut as a show dog, probably because he had too much attitude and slightly wonky eyes. Too cute… He loves the water, and is a floof so we clean a lot. He enjoys morning cuddles, walks, paddleboarding and chasing his bumpers.
Fun fact, he was a cover boy for the pet circle magazine a couple of years ago.
About Fi (by Adrian)
Fi started sailing only a few years ago with the same gusto she approaches everything, completing the RYA program, first aid, safety, diesel, radio and offshore courses. We share all the sailing responsibilities from planning to helming and sail management.
Away from the water Fi is a keen gardener, landscaper and renovator. We can’t grow much on the boat but Fi is developing our foraging skills and is becoming an expert with lures, hooks and sinkers.
I get to end each day chatting to my favourite person over a glass of red and a sunset…there’s always a great sunset when we sail 😉
Oh, can I mention the Irish dancing?

Adrian did some sailing as a young lad where he grew up in Norfolk in England which is great because the only sailing I’ve done is to sunbake on the foredeck when I was younger and complain about the headsail as we tacked (this has all changed now of course).
He’s a great problem solver of all sorts of issues, whether it be in the corporate world working through contracts and HR issues, or on the boat, dealing with the electrics or the plumbing, or the leaks.
He’s my best mate, my favourite conversation partner, makes me laugh, and I trust him to be the other half of our team as we take on this adventure and more into the future.
Fun fact, he played for Australia in canoe polo.
